Operations Manager

This position pays: $35-$40 /hr
Location: San Rafael, CA
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Compliance team to build systems that support operational excellence.
- Address operational challenges and propose solutions in consultation with the Director of Operations.
- Create tools for tracking facility needs, vendor lists, leases, contracts, and insurance requirements.
- Oversee the agency-wide work order request process, ensuring requests are promptly addressed and tracked to completion.
- Manage inventory systems for capital and consumable items, including vehicles, furniture, and office supplies.
- Supervise an Operations Coordinator and janitorial staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Lead weekly Operations meetings, track projects, and coordinate next steps.
- Maintain active contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to develop and deliver disaster/emergency preparedness training.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts at program sites and maintain related policies and procedures.
- Monitor program sites for facility needs, ensuring preventative maintenance is in place.
- Act as Project Manager for the agency’s upcoming office move.
- Manage and maintain the agency’s SharePoint platform, including user permissions and content updates.
- Oversee the use of the agency's networked printer fleet and access systems.
- Back up key resources for all locations as needed.
What you bring:
- BA degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in problem-solving and providing constructive feedback.
- Understanding of the role equity, inclusion, and diversity play in the workplace.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
