We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy of our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in molding, plastic manufacturing, operations, engineering, pharmaceutical industry, ISO standards, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing department, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our industry-leading products. Your role will be crucial in driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing daily operations of the manufacturing department.
2. Implementing and maintaining ISO standards across all manufacturing processes.
3. Applying Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Managing the production of plastic and molded products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines.
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement innovative manufacturing techniques.
6. Leading and developing a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards.
8. Developing and implementing strategies for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
9. Managing operational budget and resources efficiently.
10. Collaborating with other department heads to align manufacturing operations with overall company goals.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations management role.
3. Proven experience in molding and plastic manufacturing processes.
4. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.
5. Experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
6. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
