Operations Manager - Best Way Distribution LLC

We are seeking a highly organized Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations.  The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and performance 
• Supervise and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
• Conduct strategic planning to align operational objectives with overall company goals
• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping client inventory
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, accuracy and safety.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Train, mentor and coach warehouse staff to ensure high levels of productivity, quality, and safety awareness
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improve

Skills:

• Proven experience in process improvement and operational management
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Proficiency in project management techniques
• Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Lean/Six Sigma experience
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in warehouse management
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
