Strong guest service skills, able to resolve guest, supervisor, and team member conflicts.

Training Schedule:
Trainees will receive a training schedule that outlines their work assignments and training requirements.
Training schedules may be modified by the mentor.
Trainees will be required to attend all training sessions and complete all assignments on time.
Commitment to the program requires the ability to work any days and shifts to meet the needs of the business.
Eligibility:
Internal candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the hotel industry.
External candidates must have a degree or certificate in hospitality or a related field.
Duration:
The Hotel Manager in Training program runs for 9-12 months.
During the program, trainees will be given assignments to work on, and a mentor will guide them.
Training Assignments:
Trainees will be assigned to work in different departments of the hotel during the program.
Trainees must complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities and will be evaluated on their performance by their mentor.
Trainees will be assigned online coursework through American Hotel Lodging Association Foundation (AHLAF) Apprenticeship program.
Mentorship:
Trainees will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance throughout the program and monitor their progress.
Mentors will meet with trainees regularly to discuss their performance and progress.
Mentors may assign work, projects, or training to assist the trainees develop specific skills.
Evaluation:
Trainees will be evaluated after 45 days, 90 days, 180 days and at the end of the program.
Evaluations will be conducted by mentors and department heads who have interacted with the trainees during the period being evaluated.
