About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our janitorial services in Houston. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of janitorial staff, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring client satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes to maximize productivity and ensure the highest quality of service.
- Monitor and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to client specifications.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Address client concerns promptly and ensure all service requests are handled effectively.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that cleaning services meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess and improve service delivery.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and optimize resources, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies, to meet operational demands and budgetary goals.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and implement relevant updates in the janitorial field.
- Budget Oversight:
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the operational budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the janitorial or facilities services industry.
- Demonstrated history of strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in janitorial services.
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology for operational management.
