We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented manager to oversee our crypto and broker-dealer operations. This mid-level management role involves coordinating critical functions, ensuring compliance, and streamlining operations across asset classes, with a focus on crypto movements and broker-dealer oversight.

Location:
This position offers a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work remotely with in-office attendance in Hoboken, NJ required at least once a week if located in that area. This role may be based in any of the following hybrid locations eventually:
- New York City metropolitan area
- Austin, Texas
- Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
Responsibilities
- Manage daily crypto operations, including asset movements, approvals, and reviews.
- Develop and implement operational controls and monitoring protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with custodians to manage and safeguard client crypto assets effectively.
- Oversee broker-dealer operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory readiness by maintaining internal policies, monitoring trade and settlement processes, managing regulatory filings, and addressing audits or inquiries from FINRA, SEC, and other governing bodies.
- Optimize operational efficiency through process improvements, risk assessments, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors to streamline broker-dealer functions and mitigate risks.
- Oversee client account management and staff training to ensure adherence to AML/KYC regulations, support new product rollouts, and build team expertise in broker-dealer compliance and operational best practices.
- Lead and contribute to cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely execution and collaboration.
- Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional development and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial operations, cryptocurrency custody, or broker-dealer operations.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency operations, custody systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in broker-dealer operations holding Series 7, 24, and 4 (or ability to obtain immediately) licenses.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and crypto treasury systems.
- Experience with operational controls and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
