Job Summary: The Operations Manager, Quality Inspection, is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities within the Initial Quality Assurance department. This role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate with various affiliates and teams to ensure the highest standards of vehicle quality are met. The Operations Manager will work closely with factory personnel to identify and address top issues, monitor dealer warranty claims, and tailor inspections to enhance vehicle quality. This position involves significant cross-functional cooperation and requires the ability to lead through influence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance within the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in data analytics tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the division plan for the current year and work with teams to implement and achieve KPIs.
- Oversee daily operations of field quality inspection teams
- Build relationships with factory personnel to identify top issues, investigate, report, and share findings.
- Work with related teams to monitor dealer warranty claims and tailor inspections to reduce and enhance vehicle quality.
- Participate in meetings to understand issues and concerns regarding all diagnostics.
- Conduct weekly team meetings with team and management to report status and plans.
- Create vehicle inventory status reports as needed.
- Conduct new Model Year (MY) Port of Entry (POE) audits.
- Coordinate and support all related port reporting requirements (First point of rest, load lane, etc.).
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Automotive Quality, Automotive Logistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in hardware and software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Photography skills and vehicle evaluation in both static and dynamic conditions.
- High degree of cross-functional cooperation and coordination.
- Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of data analytic tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of mandatory training required.
- Minimum of two years in quality assurance in the automotive industry.
