Operations Manager - Insight Global

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma

• 3+ Years of experience leading a team of 4+ operations supervisors and 20+ warehouse associates

• Forklift experience moving multiple stacked pallets onto a freight shipment

• Experience implementing new and improved processes within their department

• Experience performing daily inspections to ensure compliance with local state, federal safety regulations, as well as OSHA in conjunction with the safety team.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of Truckmate system and any other computer/internal freight monitoring systems used.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities in the warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong-minded leader who takes initiative in managing a freight operations team. With a priority on employee safety and client partnerships, the role requires over three years of experience leading teams in a busy warehouse environment. The manager will be responsible for training, developing, and maintaining team skills, managing work schedules, and coordinating with the Assistant Manager and Service Center Manager to meet business objectives. Additionally, the role involves enhancing organizational processes, maintaining strategic relations with Linehaul operations, and ensuring efficient dock operations. The manager will also lead and support a large team, implement career development plans, resolve problems, and manage data collection to achieve productivity targets and deliver excellent customer service.
