In this role, you will join a small, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain military and civil government signal processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously development needs. Due to the security clearance requirement, this will be an onsite position located in our Aurora, CO campus.

What You Will Do:

• Support the efforts of ongoing operations and maintenance of DSP software, ensuring high reliability and readiness.
• Continuously develop, deploy, enhance, and optimize DSP applications to meet operational demands.
• Work alongside skilled engineers, architects, and project leaders in a dynamic Agile environment to deliver top-tier software solutions.

What You Will Learn

• Gain expertise in modern DevSecOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methods applicable to defense projects.
• Comprehensive Lifecycle Management: Deepen your understanding of software lifecycle practices tailored for the stringent demands of defense sector projects.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Familiar with Java, Linux, CSH, BASH, and Perl.
• Familiar with cloud-based SW architecture and technologies.
• Experience with X-Midas or similar Digital Signal Processing (DSP) library.
• Experience with SIGINT or signal processing software.
• Familiar with DevSecOps delivery paradigm.
• Experience with Atlassian toolset.
• Experience with Test Automation using GitLab pipeline.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
