Operations & Maintenance - CMTI - O/M EM - Consol Marine Terminals Inc

Safely provide electrical support to optimize plant availability to ensure the Terminal equipment is functioning properly when needed. Along with electrical support, must safely operate equipment for transshipment of coal from rail to vessel.

Target Responsibilities

• Strong industrial background.
• Experience with voltages up to and including 480 volts.
• Repair / troubleshoot AC and DC motors, controls, PLC controls, and all types of sensors to include limit switches and proximity switches.
• Ensures the safety of the work environment by following the Safe Work Instruction program.
• Must be able to read prints and schematics.
• Ability to work alone.
• Knowledge of ladder logic
• Desire to cross-train in operational positions such as, loaders, dozers, locomotives and cranes.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions and heights.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 6-8 yrs of electrical experience required
• Master or Journeyman License a plus.
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills a plus.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time, often while using tools.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts and weekend.
• Must be available to work overtime
• Must have ability to obtain and hold a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
