Overview:The Operations Coordinator supervises and directs the day-to-day operations of the facilities. The position provides leadership and direction to part-time staff about building policy and procedures.
This role will pay a Hourly salary of $21 to $22.

This position will remain open until March 13, 2024
Responsibilities:- Supervise facility specialists; provide and coordinate staff training and safety programs; work with housekeeping/setup workers to correct deficiencies; recommend discipline/termination actions.
- Supervise and work along with facility specialists in the set-up and tear down of facility equipment (i.e. chairs, tables, staging, risers, trash cans, dance floors, coat racks, table skirting, carpet, pipe & drape, plywood, field covers, tarps, etc.) for all events; ensure compliance with event work orders and relevant building code, fire code, and ADA regulations.
- Supervise and work along with staff in the various custodial and housekeeping functions for the facility; sweep, mop, and scrub floors; wash walls, clean windows; polish stainless steel/brass and clean counter tops; clean restrooms and replenish supplies; remove stains, clean and extract carpets; dust, polish, arrange and move furniture and equipment; remove rubbish and waste.
- Supervise and perform various facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Supervise and operate a wide variety of equipment including vans, pick-up trucks, forklifts, aerial-lifts, floor scrubbers, and other vehicles as required.
- Assist Equipment/Inventory Specialist to inventory all equipment as assigned.
- Maintain storage areas and equipment in designated areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- Identify job related challenges and make corrective recommendations to manager/director.
- Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Possess superior interpersonal and strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handle multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated with strong leadership abilities and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of operational equipment including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging.
- Ability to follow written instruction, interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints
- Candidates must be able to follow orders explicitly, be capable of working as part of a team, and be able to work well with other individuals. Candidates should be able to work alone if required, and be able to complete tasks up to and including final clean up and putting tools and supplies back to their assigned storage areas.
- Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days and extended number of days
- Forklift and aerial lift certification is preferred
