About the role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our sales organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the lead-to-booking sales processes identifying sales enablement needs and providing insightful reports on key performance metrics to support our performance objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth order processing and communication between systems, like NetSuite and EDI.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) for timely product delivery and onboarding.
- Manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Maintain existing weekly sales reports and create new reports as needed and provide recommendations for the executive team
- Track and update inventory in systems, like Netsuite and 3PL portal.
- Create and maintain SKUs and barcodes.
- Manage SKU creation in retailer portals.
- Oversee initial production runs and ensure timely delivery of samples to internal teams.
- Manage shipment of samples to retailers and all other party.
- Work with the customer service team to resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or order discrepancies.
- Act as the liaison for internal teams to address inventory issues and communicate product timelines.
- Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, recommends improvements, and tracks operational metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Advanced user of NetSuite (A MUST)
- Strong knowledge of EDI documents (A MUST)
- 2+ years of relevant business experience, preferably in sales operations
- Excel skills required for this role, and any experience analyzing complex data sets and using business intelligence tools a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Tech savvy with an eye to optimizing sales efficiency, resolving operational inconsistencies.
