Responsibilities:
- Managed Account Trading Operations Representative is responsible for trading support functions associated with Fixed Income products either executed internally by the client trading desk or externally and requiring client to step into the trade.
- Tasks include focus on client allocation and trade booking along with nonmarket related corrections.
- The team receives inbound email request from internal trading desk, business partners as well as various 3rd Party Investment Managers.
- Processing requests require proper vetting and are processed in a strict control environment requiring quality assurance.
- Additionally, the role support research and exception resolution along with focus on statistical reporting.
- The Operations Representative may assist in the rollout of new technology and process improvement initiatives and is expected to analyze current processes and make recommendations to enhance the flows and add efficiencies for the team.
- The Operations Representative is expected to build and maintain internal and external business relationships to support exceptional service. The team interacts heavily with Investment Managers, Product groups, Compliance, Risk, Branch Offices and Reconciliation partners to mitigate errors / exposure to the Bank and to solution issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Prior financial services experience required.
- Proficient PC skills and applied experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Perform in a proactive and strategic manner.
- Must be able to give clear examples of past successes in teamwork, use of analytical skills, time and organizational self-management, and flexibility to a changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Series 7 is preferred.
- Prior experience with Trading preferred.
