The Operations Admin Support Lead drives instrumental work within our DFW facility for our manufacturing organization. This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy dynamic work with variations in daily activities. You will collaborate with team members on project status, pull and maintain critical reports on daily output and performance, as well as support management in holding our teams accountable to what we need to execute. You will also wear the hat of a stand-in office manager, remaining a point of contact for the facility and assisting with employee onboarding activities while we grow this location. Some of your critical work includes but is not limited to the following:
Manufacturing / Operations Support:
- Reporting and data analysis on workload, forecast, etc.
- Tracks all projects as the primary point of contact for any questions or issues for the DFW facility; ensure the material is picked two weeks before ship date; notify teams of any material issues; ROS dates
- Collaborates with Global Management, Order Management, Materials Management, and Project Management by owning and communicating critical information on plant performance and other metrics.
- General support of management activities.
Local Employee Onboarding Support:
- Lead New Hire Orientation for new hourly and salaried employees
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure all new hire paperwork is collected, processed, and received by the back-office HR team.
- Assist managers, supervisors, and HR in ensuring all required new hire training is completed.
Job Family Responsibilities:
- Prepares complex reports, correspondence, and/or statistics.
- Maintains records and filing systems; types and/or enters data into computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, or specialized software packages.
- Performs the administration of programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the organizational unit served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all of the standard and some specialized and complex aspects within area of specialization.
- Applies documented rules, past practices, or instruction on an independent level.
- Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is difficult or complex.
- Required to have Associate's Degree, but 4-Year Degree is preferred
- 2-5 Years of working experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated SAP capabilities and experience, with a preference of 1-3 years of experience
- Strong capabilities in analyzing data, identifying trends, and conveying digestable information is critical.
- Strong utilization of MS Excel (able to create pivot tables is a must)
- Strong use of other MS Office products (Word, PPT, SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)
- Good time management and ability to work well under pressure and tight timeline
- Willingness to go above and beyond
- Experience working in an international company with a complex/matrix structure is desired
- Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking) is required
- Ability to travel up to 10%
