The Fraud Group, part of the Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience division, plays a key role in supporting the Firm by delivering industry leading operational solutions that align the right functions, people, processes and tools to ensure clients of the Firm and the Firm itself are best protected against internal and external fraud.
The Fraud Investigations, Linking, and event management team provides expert investigative skills, network analysis, and event management responsive to internal and external fraud matters.
Job Description
This Vice President position will report to an Executive Director within Wealth Management Fraud Strategy &Controls and will support the Bank Dual officer, providing fraud representation to Morgan Stanley Bank entities. Additionally, the individual will serve in a horizontal capacity spanning Wealth Management external and internal fraud supporting compliance and governance functions including new product approval committee, policies and procedures, regulatory and control partner engagements, and rule & model compliance. This role will require establishing strong relationships within the Fraud team as well as with key stakeholders across control & business units.
At least 8 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Responsibilities:
> Support Fraud Bank Dual Officer with coverage for bank fraud regulatory touchpoints, bank leadership.
> Lead fraud engagements with regulators and control partners including but not limited to Risk, Audit, and Compliance.
> Provide oversight of the teams policy and procedures, open pages, and rule & model compliance
> Manage New Product Committee fraud vetting / due diligence reviews for applicable product owners #LI-SK1
Qualifications
> Must be highly motivated and an independent leader with a strong work ethic.
> Experience in Fraud, Risk Management, Compliance, AML, and cyber preferred
> Familiarity with bank regulations with fraud impact including Reg CC and Reg E as well as NACHA operating rules preferred
> Experience leading/managing people preferred but not required
> Strong written and verbal communication skills in both business and technical contexts.
> Strong analytical, process-oriented, user experience, problem-solving/issues-resolution skills.
> Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
> Be able to work in a strong team and high activity environment where the sharing of ideas and talents is encouraged and welcomed.
> Ability to work independently in a fast paced & deadline-driven environment.
> Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
> Experience with Agile methodology and associated tools including JIRA preferred.
> BA or BS preferred, but not required.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $135,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
