**ROLE SUMMARY**
The Specialty Care Operational Excellence Team Lead is an integral member of the Specialty Care Operational Excellence Team. The team lead is responsible for providing day-to-day Operational Excellence management overseeing a team of Operational Excellence colleagues that support Global/US Medical Affairs Asset and Field teams.
They are a part of a working environment where colleagues understand and exhibit customer-focused medical professionalism with honor and integrity. The role reports to the Specialty Care Operational Excellence Lead and works closely with members of the Specialty Care Operational Excellence Team, the CMAO Leadership Team, Operational & Change Excellence Colleagues and cross functional partners.
This role will provide strategic and operational support across a mix of therapeutic/functional areas, within the Specialty Care organization with key priorities and deliverables relating to multiple Specialty Care medicines and initiatives across Asset & Field teams. The position will require the ability to lead execution aligned with strategic goals to ensure deliverables are on track and within budget. This includes alignment across key stakeholders, influencing in a matrix environment, highly effective communication, conflict resolution, and sharing best practices within Specialty Care Medical as well as cross-functionally.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Organizational Process & Change Management - Asset & Field Teams**
+ Lead, in coordination with Lead, continuous improvement efforts, adjusting in real-time and navigating complexity, change, conflict, and challenges.
+ Align with Lead on change management initiatives and effective communication strategies specific to team. Examples include:
+ Integration of new products and indications, i.e., via acquisition of new entities or advancement through internal clinical pipeline.
+ New technology implementation
**Medical Financial Management - Asset & Field Teams**
+ Budget oversight for specified asset/functional teams
+ Budget management for direct reports ensuring execution of budget process aligned with team's accountabilities.
+ Identifies risks/opportunities, and develops and drives mitigation plans
+ Leads discussions with team members to analyze and interpret budget forecast and actuals information
**Operating Plan**
+ Oversee execution of Operating Plans processes for respective asset and functional teams by translating medical strategies to tactics. Ensures that timelines and deliverables are met.
**Compliance**
+ Oversees team's compliance with training assignments by tracking compliance metrics, escalation of compliance concerns, communicating with Leadership, identifying exceptions, and ensuring team follow-through
**Performance Tracking**
+ In collaboration with Lead, drives the portfolio of activities to ensure successful execution to plan and delivery of business imperatives.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
+ Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred
+ Relevant experience required: 10+ years with Bachelor's degree; 8+ years with Masters degree
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ >8 years of experience in Project Management, Business Operations
+ Prior experience in US and Global Medical Affairs is highly preferred.
+ >8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
+ Previous people management experience preferred
+ Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies
+ Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Ability to work independently with shown flexibility and organizational awareness
+ Ability to create & oversee complex projects, including budget management & fiscal awareness
+ Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical (Customer Facing and HQ), Medical Information, People Experience, Corporate Communications, Digital, and Commercial
+ Must be decisive, exercise good judgment in decisions, organized and with the ability to prioritize a large workload.
+ Ability to manage resources, programs and multiple projects.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $173,300.00 to $288,800.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
