Operating Room Nurse Manager. - Waterbury Hospital.

Position Summary:
The Manager of Clinical Operations oversees nursing care resources in the Operating Room, managing RNs, CSTs, and Surgical Assistants. This role focuses on optimizing patient care delivery and flow, fostering collaboration among staff, and acting as a clinical expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote excellence and collaboration in the operating room.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budgetary decisions.
• Evaluate staff performance and coordinate training.
• Facilitate communication among the patient care team.
• Address quality, safety, and regulatory issues.
• Encourage staff development and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
Current CT RN License, Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred), BLS required, ACLS preferred, 3-5 years of OR clinical experience, and supervisory experience.
