Job Overview
We are in search of an accomplished and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our esteemed executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities
- Foster a robust organizational culture that prioritizes mission-driven programs, innovation, accountability, empowerment, and teamwork.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the executive leadership team, promoting high-performance standards.
- Supervise, evaluate, and support direct reports, including Vice Presidents, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business targets.
- Collaborate with fellow executives to craft and implement business strategies, enhancing interdepartmental communication and identifying growth opportunities.
- Oversee operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Analyze operational performance to discover opportunities for cost savings, program enhancements, or policy revisions.
- Innovate and execute mission-aligned programs and diverse funding strategies to ensure organizational growth and sustainability.
- Employ data-driven decision-making to establish and meet program goals, manage budgets, and assess program impact.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and licensing requirements across all programs.
- Partner with other leaders to introduce continuous quality improvement practices and measurement outcomes to evaluate program success.
- Recommend and implement new technologies and processes to optimize organizational efficiency and resource management.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with profound knowledge of foundational leadership concepts and practices.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
- High emotional intelligence and outstanding team-building, negotiation, and operational management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in mental health, social services, social work, or a relevant field is mandatory. A postgraduate degree in organizational leadership, business management, or finance is preferred.
- Licensure in a related field (e.g., MFT, LSW, PsyD, LPCC) is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the sector, including at least 3 years in an executive management capacity.
