Job Title: WAM QA Test Analyst
Location: Regional offices in the Northeastern United States (Hybrid).
Employment Type: Contract
Description:
• We are seeking a dedicated QA Test Analyst to lead quality assurance testing for enterprise systems, focusing on asset and workflow management platforms.
• This role involves ensuring the end-to-end functionality of multiple integrated systems while collaborating with stakeholders to meet testing goals.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting system testing, issue resolution, and maintaining high standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct end-to-end testing for enterprise asset management and workforce management systems.
• Understand business functionality and develop comprehensive test cases, including boundary, cross-browser, and cross-platform scenarios.
• Evaluate and present test coverage in stakeholder review sessions.
• Execute system integration testing (SIT), quality assurance (QA), and user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinating with business teams.
• Create and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, scenarios, cases, and defect reports.
• Facilitate daily scrum meetings to provide updates on testing activities.
• Collaborate on root cause analysis for issues and provide detailed documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business teams during UAT planning and execution.
Required Skills:
• Over 6 years of experience in QA testing with a strong focus on technical and functional domains.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise asset management and workforce management systems.
• Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and other test management platforms.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
• Experience in triaging issues, managing defects, and generating KPI reports.
• Strong understanding of configuration and build management procedures.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with modernization and integration projects involving complex systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps standards, version control, and deployment processes.
• Exposure to the utility industry is preferred but not mandatory.
