The University of NewMexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine is seekingBC/BE Internal Medicine trained physicians to join our outpatient faculty groupin beautiful Albuquerque, NM. UNM HSC is the only academic medical centerand is the primary teaching hospital in New Mexico. We provide care for over200,000 New Mexicans and is the only Level I trauma center in the state. Our outpatient community clinics are Level III NCQA recognized PatientCentered Medical Homes and serve a culturally rich and diverse community.Clinical sites are integrated with clinical pharmacists, behavioral health, andcare management teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
1) MD or DO;
2) BC or BE in General Internal Medicine or Preventativemedicine by date of hire;
3) Must be eligible to work in US

PreferredQualifications:

1) Experience or interest in providing evidence-based primarycare including and not limited to: complex chronic disease management, prevention,wellness, and life style medicine.

2) Experience or interest in teaching residents and medicalstudents.

3) Experience or interest in caring for underservedpopulations.

4) Experience or interest in developing quality improvement projects.

5) A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity,inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diversecommunities.
