We’re seeking an experienced and driven Onsite Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one property within our portfolio in the Southgate or Livonia, MII area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in property management to ensure exceptional resident experiences and drive success. You will be responsible for a 128-unit up to 600-unit community multifamily in either Southgate or Livonia, MI

We are searching for an energetic, experienced and dynamic Permanent Onsite Property Manager for our Southgate, MI location. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Accounting + Finance industry, where you will be primarily responsible for managing the leasing operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in leasing and 5+ years of overall experience.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies for leasing, ensuring maximum occupancy levels.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their queries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all property-related issues are promptly resolved.
Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and other relevant documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular property inspections to assess the condition of the property and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest trends in the property market and make recommendations for improving the property’s competitiveness.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 4 years in leasing.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of property management and leasing principles, laws, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in using property management software and other relevant computer applications.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, etc.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to address tenant issues promptly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Must be willing to work onsite at our Southgate, MI location.
