Onsite Job - Staff Accountant - Atlanta, GA (30319) - Brickhouse Resources

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team with two to three years of accounting experience including financial reporting and month/quarterly/year end closing processes.

Workplace Schedule: Monday through Friday

Position Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience with financial reporting, including month/quarter/year end closing processes.
• Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus
• Experience with insurance industry is a plus (life and/or health)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Preparation/review of various financial statements
• Maintain/update the general ledger
• Assist with compliance efforts and verify company adherence to industry regulations
• Reconciliation of bank statements and other financial records
• Support external auditors during the audit process by preparing documentation and other duties
• Recommend opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue
• Conduct month and year end closings
