Social Media Digital Content Specialist
Primary Function of Position:
This is an exciting role with significant visibility and an opportunity to further define best practices for Intuitive's global social media capability. Reporting to the Sr Group Manger, Social Media-Digital Marketing you will be responsible for channel management and publishing of Intuitive's Social Media. As a member of the Brand & Creative team and the larger Corporate Marketing group, you will work cross-functionally to define and deliver meaningful, measurable business impact to internal and external stakeholders worldwide. The successful candidate will bring expertise in social media channel management, paid social, and publishing and engagement platforms. The role requires a minimum 3+ years of increasing responsibility in social media for a brand, or agency in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred.
This role sits within the Brand & Creative team in Global Corporate Marketing organization. This team consists of five functional teams: Brand Lab, Social Media & Creative Studio, Web Marketing, Media Production and Design Operations. The Social Media team consists of analysts, copywriters, and paid and organic channel strategists responsible for supporting Intuitive's social marketing across the global organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the tactical planning of the global social media channel strategy, daily content publishing process using Sprinklr Social Publishing & Engagement and the submission of content for regulatory reviews using Veeva.
• Assist in the planning and management of a 90-day forward looking global social media calendar across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and Sprinklr Employee Advocacy
• Partner with regional stakeholders, Corporate Commerical Marketing, Corporate Product Portfolio Marketing, and US Marketing to align editorial calendars for more holistic storytelling
• Adjust the scheduling of content as needed to ensure optimal algorithmic reach and continuity in our storytelling across channels
• Work cross-functionally with the Paid Social Media Specialist on the tactical setup of campaigns using the Meta Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Managers
• Track media budgets, billing, and invoicing across social channels to maximize ROI and identify optimizations
• Lead the analytics and measurement of advocacy, paid, and owned content with regular reporting to ensure content strategies are on pace to meet goals
• Support Social Media Strategists in the ideation and planning of organic and paid campaigns as needed
• Lead the regional coordination of global operations, including publishing a bi-weekly social media newsletter with best practices ready for regional adoption as well as the distribution of social media kits for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills simplifying complex ideas and concepts and making them clear and actionable
• Expertise in crafting playbooks and social media publishing and engagement workflows models to accelerate engagement and growth
• Fluency across paid social media platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, and YouTube and experience with social media platforms outside the United States is a plus
• Thorough knowledge of platform mechanics and customer care platforms such as Sprinklr Social Publishing & Engagement and Sprinklr Employee Advocacy
• Collaborate with the Paid Social Media Specialist to set up campaigns using the LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager and assist in the tracking of spends
Required Education and Training:
• Minimum 3+ years of increasing responsibility in social media channel management and publishing and engagement for a brand or agency in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred
• Essential skill in the utilization of major SMM, SaaS, and publishing and engagement tools (Ex: HootSuite, Sprinklr, Sprout) and experience with on-platform paid campaign and ad mangers (EX: LinkedIn, Meta, and X)
• Strong data and analytics background and a keen ability to understand customer data and know how to convert insights into purposeful actions to meet business needs using Google Analytics 4, Excel, Python, R, Sprinklr a plus
• Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally towards shared goals
• Able to pivot between long-term projects to short-term needs, with manager support, based on shifting priorities in a growing organization
• A desire and ability to understand complex medical systems and the needs of the individuals and groups that work inside and are adjacent to them
• Superior verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable attention to accuracy and detail
• Demonstrable experience negotiating and creating process enabling and end-to-end social media workflows in a Jira and Agile/Scrum environment
• Ability to travel up to 15%. International and Domestic USA
