One Source, Tax Consultant - Contract Role - Remote at Blue Ocean Ventures

• Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their unique tax needs and financial goals.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations through ongoing research and professional development.
• Maintain clear and concise client records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• May utilize tax software programs to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other professionals within the firm, such as accountants and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive client service.
• Analyze client tax data and prepare filings within the One Source platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Twelve (12) or more years of experience in accounting, taxation or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working within the One Source platform is a must.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
