Overview
The Onboarding Specialist will provide a coordinated and consistent approach in onboarding, deploying and driving adoption of digital products and services to our customers. Works closely with Sales Department PSSR’s and MSR’s to provide solutions that will enhance client satisfaction by supporting our different digital platforms. The onboarding Specialist will be also responsible for TIER II support as part of Cat Customer Care world class eCommerce support
Basic Duties
- The Onboarding Specialist will act as liaison between Product Support and Sales Department for customer onboarding after machine delivery
- Responsible for on-boarding customers on all our digital platforms (PCC, MCC, The New Vision Link, Cat Inspect... )
- Obtain customer consent of Cat Digital Policy
- Collect customer digital platform end user information to create CWS, UCID, DCN to properly subscribe machines with Product link.
- Make sure last three steps are completed before 10 days of machine delivery
- Perform customer follow up to make sure they are engaged with digital products.
- Perform monthly reports to monitor customer onboarding success
- Provide support to Manager on our Digital Excellence Program
- Administers Dealer maintenance Tool (DMT)
- Altorfer TIER II support (In App & Local) for Cat Customer Care,
- Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel.
- Other job duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail.
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills required and familiar with programs such as, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
- Previous administrative, clerical or sales support experience is ideal.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will primarily work in an office environment, there may be times when you are required to go out into the service and warehouse area and will need to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields). May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for an extended period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 20lbs. Candidate must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
