About the Job
The On-Call Customer Center Attendant supports the meal services provided at the Customer Center and the Concierge team. This employee is expected to be customer-oriented, respectful, discreet, friendly, and very organized.
The On-Call Customer Center Attendant position requires proactivity, attention to detail, the ability to read social cues, and good people skills that help anticipate customer needs and provide them with a great experience.
Job Duties:
Buffet Service:
- Set up meeting rooms for buffet-style lunches with China, silverware, glasses, utensils, and disposables
- Re-plate some meals that come from the caterers on Embraer platers
- Serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to designated meeting rooms
- Clear the meal service, reset the area with dishes
- Load the dishwashers and hand wash delicate items
- Polish and ensure all dishes are spotless; put clean dishes away
- Clean the kitchen working area
- Abide by food safety standards to ensure the safety of our customers
Plated Dining Services:
- Set up the dining room for plated service
- Serve meals and take drink orders
- Clear and reset the room once service is concluded
- Load the dishwashers and hand wash delicate items
- Polish and ensure all dishes are spotless; put clean dishes away
- Clean the kitchen working area
- Abide by food safety standards to ensure the safety of our customers
Stock:
- Restock consumable supplies in all meeting rooms, mini fridges, coffee carts, buffet credenzas, etc.
- Maintain the kitchens and stock areas organized and clean
- Check and keep track of expiration dates of supplies
- Nicely arrange snack baskets for customer meetings
Organization and Cleanliness:
- Maintain the kitchen and work area clean and organized
- Help the lead server clean coffee pots, coffee machines, microwaves, fridges, coffee makers, and so on
- Notify the lead and supervisor of any broken/missing/damaged crystal ware and serve ware items so replacements can be purchased
- Ensure dishes are clean when setting up for customer use
Notes:
- Due to the nature of the work, you may be required to stay on your feet for long periods of time
- Embraer will provide the uniform
- Other duties may be assigned
- Professional personal presentation and hygiene are required
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma completed
- Valid food handling certificates (or similar) are required
- Restaurant or hospitality-related certificates preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in the restaurant and/or hospitality industry
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
- International/intercultural experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to calmly work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Ability to be detail-oriented and resourceful in a customer-focused environment
- Ability to anticipate customers and guests’ needs
- Bilingual language skills preferred but not required

- Ability to work in a safe, professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations
- Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- Professional appearance and demeanor to support business needs
- Formal and business casual attire required; uniform will be provided
- Availability for both traditional and nontraditional business hours
