Responsibilities
- Performing vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and GM multi-point vehicle inspections in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
- Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles
- Inspect for and document any worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and pride in one's work
- Eagerness to improve
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Dependable team player with a good attitude
- One year in a service department (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
