JobSummary
The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates,and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction ofco-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation ofcare. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the establishedFMC policies, procedures and guidelines.
JobQualifications
Education: Associate degree in nursing.Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Valid license to practice in the Stateof Ohio.CPR required.
Experience: Previous Registered Nursingexperience preferred.

EssentialJob Functions
JobExpectations and Responsibilities:
4.Assesses, plans, implementsand evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
- Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway.
- Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
- Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process/pathway.
- Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient.
- Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
- Implements physician orders as written.
- Assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.
