Scope of Position:
We are seeking an Electrical/Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. As an Offshore Implementaton intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field of electrical or civil engineering. This position is open to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in electrical or civil engineering. This is a hybrid role that will be based atour Brooklyn, NY office. Hybrid work requires at least 3 days a week on average onsite.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical or civil engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects, including data collection, calculations, and simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Participate in field visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify potential issues or improvements.
- Support the testing and troubleshooting of electrical or civil engineering systems and equipment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical or civil engineering technologies.

Working Conditions:
- 90% of time spent in office environment
- 10% on supervised field visits
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in electrical or civil engineering.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong academic background in engineering principles and concepts.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in electrical or civil engineering is a plus.
- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Physical Requirements:
Ability to attend field visit or conduct site walkdowns with the project team
