Schedule: Monday/Friday Remote; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office 8:30 - 5:00pm Major Responsibilities: + Plan and coordinate schedules for executive team and events; ensure schedules are followed and respected + Research, prioritizes, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to multiple Company Leaders, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature; Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response + Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the Executive team and internal departments by maintaining credibility, trust and support with senior management staff + Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the Executive team's ability to effectively lead the company + Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters with speed and efficiency, being proactive, and following through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure + Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding any relationships, discussions, and material that the executive assistant is privy to + Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments + Execute special projects + Complete expense reports including composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential + Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas + Compile documents for travel-related meetings + Understand and demonstrate Essendant’s Core Values and Guiding Principles
