A well known New Jersey-based electrical construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their clients is hiring an Office Manager/Bookkeeper! The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will oversee the daily administrative functions of the office while managing the company’s bookkeeping and financial records. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is highly organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and records.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications for the leadership team.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Process payroll and maintain related records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with construction/electrical industry processes and terminology.
- Experience with project management software or construction-specific accounting software (i.e. Spectrum).
Compensation:
- Base Salary starting at $70,000

Location:
- Office located in Raritan Township, NJ, with travel required to project sites across New Jersey.
