About the Job
Overview:
The Office Manager will sit in our Reston, VA office and manage the day-to-day operations of an office and also support leaders with administrative projects.
Responsibilities:- Assist with internal needs for meetings, presentations, coordination of schedules, and various scheduling and budget related requests
- Responsible for office administration tasks as assigned
- Work with team to ensure resource availability and allocation related to internal projects, marketing events, etc.
- Assist with working on operational tracking and information support needs
- Ensure all building systems are operational and are maintained in accordance with company policies, environmental regulations, building codes, and local/national regulations
- Coordinate and respond to building occupant maintenance/repair requests
- Build, coordinate, and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with employee office onboarding and equipment/office access
- Serve as front-office reception and guest support, office supplies and equipment maintenance, plant maintenance, landlord relations and management of building access passes, safety, and security support
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of Office Management experience
- Must be able to work predominantly in person at the Reston, VA office at least 4 days a week
- Exceptional experience and proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Candidate should maintain a polished and professional appearance suitable for a corporate environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to work independently with little direct supervision
- Working knowledge of building systems and facilities maintenance
