We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our team at D’Alessandro Funeral Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our office, ensuring organization, productivity, and a positive working environment for all staff members.
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our team at D’Alessandro Funeral Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our office, ensuring organization, productivity, and a positive working environment for all staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support within the company, including answering inbound phone calls, managing calendars, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of office facilities, including managing vendor relationships, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment.
- Human Resources Support: Assist with HR-related tasks such as employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, and coordinating employee events or activities.
- Billing: Prepare invoices and manage Accounts Receivable.
- Client Support: Manage obituary placement, oversee Life Insurance process, keep updated contact information and schedule appointments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in office administration and management.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks and other office management software.
