Job Summary:
Are you a multitasking maestro with a love for pets? As our Office Manager, you'll be the heart of our operation, responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting HR functions, and assisting with executive-level duties. From overseeing payables to onboarding new hires, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our pet resort running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks, such as reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records.
- Manage employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, inquiries, and compliance.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
- Assist with other HR duties, such as maintaining employee records and fostering employee relations.
- Review and manage annual insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the owner, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
- Assist with executive-level tasks, such as preparing reports, presentations, and financial analyses.
- Handle general office duties, including answering phones, managing mail, maintaining office equipment, and ordering supplies.
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least eight (6) years of experience in office management or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in payroll processing software, bookkeeping software, and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures, including onboarding and benefits administration.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
