Office Manager, Outpatient Oncology - Holy Redeemer Health System

SUMMARY OF JOB:

Responsible for outpatient oncology front desk processes and clerical staff in all locations. This includes front desk registration, patient scheduling, and medical record obtainment for new and follow-up patient visits. Responsible for the call center and patient access. Responsbile for patient transport in the outpatient oncology area. Responsible for patient flow and process improvement in front desk operations.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree required. Equalivent combination of experience and education will be considered. A minimum of five (5) years of office leadership experience required. Oncology experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of the registration process, insurance guidelines, capitation guidelines and the scheduling process. Knowledge diagnostic testing, and the requirements for testing. Knowledge of the cash collection process and financial counseling procedures. Has a working knowledge of all computer applications used in the scheduling/registration flow.
