Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, including supply management, vendor coordination, and maintaining office efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, vendors, and clients regarding administrative matters.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organize company events.
Bookkeeping:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and expense tracking.
- The Office Manager will reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and vendor contracts for audit purposes.
Preferred Qualifications of the Office Manager
- 3+ years of experience in office management or administrative roles, with bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and payroll processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a small business environment is a plus.
