Our client is a well-established construction company in Evans, Georgia, with a strong history of delivering excellence in every project. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Manager to join their team. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in the company's operations, overseeing daily office management tasks while supporting HR functions and assisting the Controller. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and dynamic professional with a strong background in office management, accounting practices, and human resources compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional work environment.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and support the Controller in various accounting functions.
- Perform HR-related duties, including onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR, benefits, and payroll.
- Utilize strong Excel skills to create and manage spreadsheets, reports, and data analysis for office and financial tasks.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, schedules, and company events as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and workflow.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an Office Manager or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
Proven experience with AP/AR processes and financial record-keeping.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of HR compliance and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and clients.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
