Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $115,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Office Manager - Healthcare
- Individual is flexible. Willing to work multi-site locations listed above.
- Must have ophthalmology background
- Individual must be high caliber: extremely professional and articulate.
- Will be managing 3-4 offices at one time; no set hours but day will start around 8am.
- Has worked in revenue above 5M
- Able to work in peer partner model as well as alone.
- Doctor portfolio: Comfortable working with at least 10 doctors at one time.
- Ability to onboard new physicians
- Proven track record with successful staff management
- Progressive career patterns showing growth in roles
- Accountability and action plan and can demonstrate these areas of expertise.
- Ability to achieve goals that are set forth by supervisor
- Has knowledge of practice openings, grand openings, closures, relocations.
- There is a 10% bonus paid quarterly for successful manager.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
• Oversees day to day practice operations; administers policies and procedures
• Oversees office financials and promotes the most efficient use of office resources/budget;
dispenses/reconciles petty cash
• Oversees staff scheduling, time and attendance; e.g. vacations, sick/personal time, etc.
• Regularly assesses staffing requirements; interviews, hires and trains new employees as
necessary
• Ensures staff are familiar with job requirements, expectations, and safe and proper use of
facilities and equipment
• Conducts annual employee performance reviews; provides ongoing coaching and mentorship
• Conducts regular departmental and office staff meetings
• Promotes professionalism and superior customer service by all levels of staff; develops process
improvements on a regular basis
• Manages accurate filing and organization of patient accounts/demographics
• Ensures compliance with federal/state/local regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
• Regularly interfaces with staff, physicians, patients, and other stakeholders
• Keeps abreast of industry best practices and pursues continued personal education
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). BA/BS degree preferred
Experience: 3+ years’ experience in a management role; healthcare office management experience
required
