About the Office Manager position
We are looking for a skilled Office Manager to help us with administrative tasks, in close collaboration with the CEO, ensuring the proper support to the staff and smooth running of our company's office. Your duties will also include bookkeeping and management of our customer relationship management system. You should be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision, as well as self-motivated and trustworthy.

Office Manager responsibilities are:
- Organize activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Arrange schedules, travel, appointments etc. as needed
- Manage records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Oversee budgeting and bookkeeping procedures in conjunction with CEO
- Organize phone calls and correspondence such as e-mail, letters, packages and so on
- Monitor stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Prepare timely reports and presentations and submit them to the CEO
- Support communication activities such as promotional materials, newsletters, or other information, largely in electronic form
- Prepare and manage conference materials and arrange for shipping of exhibits to and from conferences
Office Manager requirements are:
- Practical experience with GSuite Application, Excel, Word, Wordpress, and other report and management software
- Ability to manage time effectively and time of others where necessary
- Should actively look to assist in growing the Laser Thermal team and pitching in where possible
- Possess strong verbal communication skills able to converse with a variety of customers ranging from engineers up through high level executives
- Strong technical skills, able to learn and navigate software systems used to run small businesses
- 2+ years' experience working as an Office Administrator, Office Manager, or other relevant position
- Bachelors degree or additional years of working experience
Position Details:
- This is a full-time position.
- Work will be completed in person at our office in Central Charlottesville. Parking included.
- Compensation includes salary at a range of $44,000 - $50,000 annually, plus health benefits, 401K, equity, and paid time off.
