We are looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant and professional work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.
Office Manager duties and responsibilities include scheduling and managing office staff, maintaining office supply records/arrangements, and providing general administrative support to our employees.
Ultimately the Office Manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point person for office manager duties including:
- Training
- Supplies
- Maintenance
- Organize the office
- Maintain the office condition, informing the maintenance staff when issues arise
- Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary.
- Organize Office Operations and Procedures
- Coordinate with IT on all office equipment
- Provide general support to visitors, if needed.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook in particular)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- Familiarity with seafood processing or food industry operations is a plus.
- Our office is bi-lingual (English and Spanish) so being able to speak both is a huge benefit.
Salary
20 - 28 /hour
