About the Job
As Office Manager, you will broadly support the operations of the Company. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will serve as an enabling function for all employees, contractors and vendors of the Company. You will run the front office, answering phones, and you will run the back office as ‘book-keeper’. Our company is predominantly engineers – your job is to allow those engineers to focus on engineering (instead of administration), ensuring that management is in the loop and processes are appropriately followed.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Supporting engineering operations: issue purchase orders, bills/checks, maintain insurance, and other
overhead.
• Ensuring that the office runs smoothly, including taking inventory of office and IT supplies, and placing
orders when needed.
• Supporting internal and external meetings with investors and customers
• Assisting with administrative support to C-level executives
• Performing bookkeeping with QuickBooks software; working closely with our accountant on financial
reporting; tracking payables and reconciling bank statements.
• Managing records and files.
