Job Details
As an Office Manager in our Dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards. You will work closely with the management team to provide financial reporting and analysis, and help drive business decisions to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting and financial operations of the dealership, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards, and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions, and identify areas for improvement
- Manage the audit process, and work with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion
- Utilize DealerTrack and other software systems to manage inventory, sales, and financial data
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, and provide training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and support business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and provide recommendations to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a dealership or automotive industry, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards, and experience with financial statement preparation and audit
- Experience with Tekion, DealerTrack, or other dealership software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
