In this exciting role, you'll be the backbone of their daily operations while creating a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for their team.
What You’ll Do:
Office Management:
- Take charge of daily office operations by managing supplies, equipment, and facilities to keep everything running smoothly.
- Greet visitors with a warm smile and ensure they feel right at home with refreshments and a comfortable waiting area.
- Oversee office budgets, tracking supplies, equipment purchases, and vendor payments to maintain financial efficiency.
- Cultivate a neat, organized workspace that inspires productivity.
- Liaise with building management and vendors to ensure our office runs like a well-oiled machine.
- Handle IT and telecommunications systems alongside IT Support for seamless tech functionality.
- Spot opportunities for improvements and coordinate funding requests with your Line Manager.
- Skillfully manage incoming calls, directing them to the right people.
- Keep the meeting room calendar organized and efficient.
- Maintain accurate office records, files, and databases.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries like a pro.
- Plan and organize fun team-building events that bring everyone together!
Workplace Experience:
- Assist in local recruitment to find talented new team members.
- Support new hires through a smooth onboarding experience, introducing them to the team and ensuring their tech setups are a breeze.
- Keep everyone in the loop with clear internal communications about HR policies, upcoming events, and staff updates.
- Play a key role in enhancing employee engagement through wellness initiatives and programs.
- Contribute to various projects aimed at improving HR functions and enriching the employee experience.
- Coordinate and track progress for training and development programs, scheduling sessions that inspire growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in office management that showcases your skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that make you a team player.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience with budgets and vendor management is a bonus!
