Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an **Office Engineer - Highway & Bridge Projects** to be based in **Oakland, CA** . **Job Summary/Responsibilities** * Office Engineer will be responsible for the documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals, and other transportation-related project documentation. * Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff. * Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications. * General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas. * May oversee work of junior-level technicians. **Qualifications** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education * Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Check PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• * Experience in Transportation Construction on large scale projects as Office Engineer * Experience with other transportation-related project documentation such as documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals * EIT is desired **Additional Information** All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
