About the Job
The facilities Coordinator provides assistance to the facility management team to ensure successful service delivery of the client facility needs. Directly supports the facility management team with on-going facility and team related responsibilities.
Specific Job Functions:
- Coordinate with outside contractors for the service and repairs of equipment at the direction of facilities management.
- Follow protocol for effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures.
- Request, Review, and submit work orders, bids, and proposals from vendors.
- Schedule & Document maintenance and repairs on building equipment
- Establish and maintain and inventory control system that tracks inventory and consumption of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities needs are being met.
- Reporting to management and advising them on inventory matters, such as inventory levels, turnover costs, and forecasts.
- Submitting requisitions for purchase orders as needed for facility related equipment, parts and materials.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of facilities.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years experience in a similar position.
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Proactive Attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 21 Years of Age
