RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Coordinator in our LaFollette, TN, location. This position will be 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. Prior experience in customer service, mental health or medical/dental office experience is required. Prior experience in leadership is preferred. Position requires excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills, interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and problem solving. Must complete work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy. Must exercise discretion, good judgement, empathy, and compassion in communicating with clients. Must handle confidential information appropriately. Must be willing to travel and provide own transportation to other clinic sites to provide coverage when needs arise.
SUMMARY
Under direction, the Office Coordinator leads, oversees, and participates in the process for clients seeking services, including scheduling initial appointments with benefits verification and service authorizations as required. This position provides training and support to Client Services Representatives in the department and provides support to other clinic sites as needed. Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and medical record policy to ensure that records meet standards and requirements. This position acts as a service expert and liaison for clients to obtain services at Ridgeview and/or other agencies.
