About the Job
Our client, a growing manufacturing company moving to the Batavia, IL area, is seeking an Office Assistant with QuickBooks Experience to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. This person should have experience working as an office assistant in a manufacturing setting, the ability to work independently, and experience working with QuickBooks.
Pay Range: $24-$32/hr. (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
**PLEASE NOTE-THIS POSITON REQUIRES YOU TO WORK ONSITE, THIS IS NOT A HYBRID/REMOTE OPPORTUNITY.**
Office Assistant with QuickBooks Experience Job Duties:
- Accurately inputting data into computer systems from various sources like invoices, purchase orders, and customer information.
- Maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems, including document scanning and indexing.
- Tracking and updating important company records and logs to ensure data integrity.
- Processing customer orders, including verifying details, generate invoices, and coordinating with the warehouse.
- Respond to internal emails and phone calls regarding administrative matters.
- Generating reports and spreadsheets based on data analysis as required.
- Working with various departments to ensure smooth workflows and communication.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to data privacy and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience as an office assistant in a manufacturing environment required.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
- Fluent in both Spanish & English strongly preferred. (will be working with customers in Central and South America)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proactive problem solver willing to search for the best solution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Benefits include:

- Vacation Pay of 1 week available after 6 months of employment.
