Job description Position Overview:
Entry level position. The Office Coordinator will coordinate and communicate with all caregivers and clients, assist creating their schedules and availability, and ensure their files are accurate, in a timely manner. The Office Coordinator will receive on-the-job training.
This position is fast paced and requires the ability to communicate, prioritize, think critically, and problem solve.
Responsibilities of the Office Coordinator:
• Answering phone calls.
• Assist the team building schedules.
• Assist with caregiver call outs and scheduling adjustments.
• Confirming shifts with caregivers and clients.
• Documentation of various events, situations, changes, cancelations, and other occurrences.
• Other projects as needed.
• Team building with employees.
• Communicating employee concerns and issues with operations manager and/or RN
• Communicating with clients and client contacts.
• Filing and on-call duties.
Skills/Qualifications:
• One (1) year of previous experience in an office setting.
• Experience in the senior care industry preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks.
• Self-starter.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with others.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and record keeping (attention to detail is critical.)
• Establishing priorities and managing workload.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
