*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an*_Office Assistant_*for their Main Office Department. The right candidate will provide support with the daily activities of the office including filing, telephone coverage, and general clerical assistance.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
*
o Provide support to Sr. Leadership and H.R.
o Collect data and necessary information from Sales Agents to meet strict deadlines.
o Update and distribute month end reports and weekly sales reports to DVP of Sales and Sr. Leadership.
o Track outstanding items.
o Order and distribute business cards as needed.
o Record meeting minutes and provide follow up notes.
o Organize and manage Sales calendar for staffing purposes.
o Communicate all deadlines and updates to Sales Agents.
o Office Receptionist
o Prepare for and help coordinate Sales Meetings
o Work closely with Sales Team and assist where needed
o Handle all Incoming and Outgoing mail.
o Book and tracks Business Travel
o Supply and track orders for field and office.
o Office upkeep
o Event Committee tasks as assigned
o Provide clerical support for H.R.
o Additional duties as assigned
*Education and/or Experience*
* Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
* Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
