We are seeking a dynamic and driven Consulting Office Assistant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with a knack for juggling multiple tasks at once. This role will provide administrative support to our consulting team, helping to streamline operations and improve efficiencies. The role involves a high level of interaction with multiple departments, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. The Consulting Office Assistant will be instrumental in driving our mission of delivering superior service and solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the coordination of various consulting projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
2. Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and processing purchase orders.
3. Oversee inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
4. Coordinate scheduling for consulting team members, including arranging meetings, travel, and accommodations.
5. Prepare and distribute reports on project status, inventory levels, and purchasing activities.
6. Liaise with various departments to facilitate communication and streamline operations.
7. Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
8. Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals for clients.
9. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
10. Contribute to the improvement of operational procedures and processes.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in purchasing, inventory control, and scheduling.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
8. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
9. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
10. High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
